Desmoplastic Mesothelioma

Desmoplastic Mesothelioma is a variant of Malignant Mesothelioma and a form of Diffuse Mesothelioma.  It is also classified as a rare form of Mesothelioma known as Sarcomatoid Mesothelioma. The properties and characteristics of Sacomatoid Mesothelioma tissue is very hard to detect and often flawed as sarcomatoid carcinoma or sarcoma which is another form of Cancer cells.

Mesothelioma which is cancer of the mesothelium is a disease in which cells become abnormal and hurt nearby tissues and organs. Mesothelioma in most ordinary cases start in the thoracic cavity or abdominal cavity. Mesothelium which is a membrane that forms the lining for the thoracic cavity, abdominal cavity, heart sac and mesothelial tissue also surrounds both male and female reproductive organs.

The diagnosis for Demoplastic Mesothelioma is when acellular connective tissue comprised 50% or more of tumor bulk. Desmoplastic Mesothelioma is bestow in up to 10% of Malignant Mesothelioma Cases, it develops Cancer cells more rapidly,it is also more rubbery and is amongst the worst survival rates for Cancer attributable to any known Mesothelioma Cancer Types.
